Cookies & Browser Storage
What stays on your device.
Last reviewed: 2 October 2026Account sessions
The account system uses an HttpOnly session cookie named hw_session. Sessions expire after seven days unless revoked earlier. Signing out revokes the current session; it does not erase browser-saved journals or reports.
Saved tools and temporary details
Browser storage holds local reports, journals, practice counters, home checklists, cart items and guest booking tracking links. Tab session storage transfers entered details between related pages. The palm preview currently uses page memory only.
Your controls
You can delete local reports and journal entries using their page controls or clear this website’s data in your browser settings. Clearing site data may remove guest booking tracking links and local records permanently. Export or print what you need first. Server records and provider-hosted PDFs are not deleted by clearing the browser.
External services
External fonts, images, sign-in and payment providers may make network requests and use their own storage. You can turn off our first-party and Google Ads activity measurement using the control below.
Vani chat continuity
Vani requires sign-in and uses your existing account session to keep conversations private. Tab storage holds a conversation ID, not the chat text. Conversations expire after 24 hours of inactivity. Use New chat to clear the current conversation from our chat records.
Website activity measurement
We use a random browser identifier to estimate visitors, page views and active users. We record page paths without query strings, referring website names, device categories and visit times. For signed-in visitors, activity can be linked to the account so we can measure active RareU members. We do not include form contents or chat messages in these measurements. Browser privacy signals are respected.
Google Analytics and Ads measurement
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits to public website pages and Google Ads to measure advertising performance. Analytics receives public page paths without query strings or fragments, a generic page title and the referring site origin. After verified payment, it may receive an opaque transaction identifier, amount and currency. A successfully saved pooja enquiry may be counted separately without its contact or booking details. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser information, page path and advertising click identifiers, and may use measurement cookies. We do not deliberately send names, contact details, birth details, report contents or chat messages through this tag. Advertising personalisation signals are disabled. The tag respects browser privacy signals and the activity measurement opt-out on our Cookies & Browser Storage page. Management pages are excluded. Private account, checkout and report screens do not send page views; a verified purchase can load measurement with a generic website URL.
Bhakti Radio storage & playback consent
Bhakti Radio stores song-language preference, saved stations, selected city, the accepted playback notice and the most recent resume point on this device. These records are separate from the website language and account-synced favourites. Clearing site storage removes device-only records. Account favourites remain until you remove them or request deletion.
YouTube player resources load after you accept its playback notice and press Play. Google/YouTube may use cookies and receive network and playback information under the Google Privacy Policy. Use the radio page’s playback privacy control to withdraw the saved consent and unload the player; this does not delete cookies previously set by Google.
