API access is a delivery service. Every record and photograph carries its own context and rights.
What is in the collection?
The current release includes 132 Indian temples, 21 reviewed visitor guides and 96 linked photographs. Basic listings may lack confirmed deity or visitor details. “Reviewed guide” means additional editorial research, not official temple endorsement. Null fields mean unknown. Source and review dates describe when information was collected, not live availability.
Facts, summaries and photos
Structured facts initially sourced from Wikidata are available under CC0. Paying for this API does not grant exclusive rights in public facts. Healersworld’s original summaries cite their references and may be used in integrations under the API terms.
Wikimedia Commons photos retain the individual creator, licence URL and source URL in each record. Display a visible credit linking to the creator/source and licence. Some licences require adaptations to be shared under the same terms. See Commons reuse guidance. Remote photographs can become unavailable; no image-hosting guarantee is included.
Changes & corrections
Use stable record IDs and handle additive JSON fields. Cache for up to 24 hours when freshness matters; reconfirm changing travel details with the temple. Report corrections with a temple ID and an authoritative source. There is no fixed content update schedule.
API account data
We store your account identity, subscription and invoice references, consent, key labels and prefixes, key hashes, creation/revocation and last-used times, and aggregate request counters. Full API keys are shown once and are not stored. Revocation immediately blocks new requests. Monthly usage is retained as billing history; a request’s search text or coordinates are not saved by the application’s usage counter.
Hosting, payment and security providers may process network metadata under their own policies. Razorpay handles payment credentials. Do not send personal information in temple searches. For access, correction or deletion requests, use Your data requests. Billing records may need to be retained for legitimate record-keeping. The website privacy policy also applies.
