Define one usable outcome
Agree on a small deliverable, such as a translated leaflet, a clear registration form or an updated information page. Confirm who will review it and who owns the final files. Avoid requesting more personal information or account access than the task needs. Keep sensitive material within the organisation's approved systems.
Make the result easy to maintain
Use formats and tools the team already understands where possible. Explain how to edit ordinary details such as dates, contact numbers and opening hours. If a specialist tool is necessary, discuss its ongoing cost and who will operate it. A beautiful result that nobody can update may quickly become a burden.
Leave instructions, not dependence
Provide a short handover with file locations, important limitations and the next steps. Remove your access when the work ends according to the organisation's process. Offer a realistic window for follow-up questions if you can. The strongest contribution leaves the team more capable of continuing without you.
