Identify the authority and the date
Find out who published each piece of information and when it was updated. Start with the temple’s official website, booking confirmation or current notice. A third-party guide can help you discover what to ask, but it may describe an earlier arrangement. Even an official general page may need to be read alongside a service-specific instruction.
Ask a focused question
Instead of asking “Is this correct?”, state your planned date and the service you intend to attend. Ask which entrance, reporting time or booking method applies. Keep a record of the answer for your own planning, without posting private messages or contact details publicly. Avoid repeatedly sharing uncertain information in family groups as if it were confirmed.
Build in a final check
Revisit the official source shortly before departure, particularly around festivals or announced changes. If you cannot verify a detail, label it as uncertain and leave room in your itinerary. Useful travel planning distinguishes confirmed requirements from estimates, rather than making the whole journey depend on one unverified screenshot.
